The CENTURION i7 vehicle computer is tailored to the special requirements in military vehicles. Connected to the vehicle network, the CENTURION i7 controls and communicates with other systems and the sensor technology. As the central information node of the vehicle’s IT system, it receives, processes and distributes all sensor information and data from the connected applications.

The CENTURION i7 is flexibly configurable and enables functions to be expanded for the specific project at hand with the help of plug-ins.

Qualification

The CENTURION i7 keeps out water and dust, withstands salt fog, holds up to fluctuating pressures and the extended temperature range, and reliably processes data under heavy shocks and vibrations.

On-board voltage network

KNDS Deutschland Mission Electronics ensures smooth operation on the vehicle electrical system by applying VG96916 and MIL-STD-1275. This guarantees that CENTURION computers harmonise with the power supply system, do not negatively influence the system or take damage themselves.

EMC

An aluminium housing and special design ensure EMC compatibility. KNDS Deutschland Mission Electronics applies various civil norms and standards as well as MIL-SPECS for this purpose.
